They invent, refine and innovate in ways that connect participants with the community, collaborate with CEO board members and most importantly provide guidance to the participants.

Meet our Facilitator

The CEO Facilitator will create a learning environment where students are encouraged to explore, discover and experience learning through real-life activities. The facilitator's role is to model a passion for learning, connect with the students and community, collaborate with the CEO board and most importantly provide guidance to the students.

 

The facilitator position is a half-time position. 90 minutes of the day is spent with the students, and the balance is used for arranging business visits, guest speakers, calling on business people, etc. CEO requires a great deal of time from the facilitator to establish good relationships with the business communituy, prepare the many communications that make the program transparent, and build the learning encironment that allows students to succeed.

Key Responsibilities of the CEO Facilitator:

  • Serve as a professional representative of the CEO program, maintaining a positive image
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all CEO-related matters
  • Coordinate and schedule guest speakers, business visits, and industry engagements
  • Gather and analyze feedback from presenters to enhance program quality
  • Support marketing efforts, including writing and posting updates on social media platforms
  • Prepare and present a monthly report to the board, providing updates on program progress
  • Collaborate with the CEO board to fulfill shared responsibilities and strategic initiatives
  • Conduct student orientation and coordinate mentor pairings for each participant
  • Guide students in developing both class-wide and individual business ventures
  • Organize and oversee the end-of-year trade show showcasing student businesses
  • Plan and execute alumni engagement activities to maintain long-term connections
  • Identify and cultivate community networking opportunities for student growth and professional development

 

Ways the Facilitator Supports Student Development:

  • Review and provide meaningful feedback on students' weekly journals
  • Connect students with valuable resources, mentors, and opportunities
  • Continuously assess and evaluate student performance to foster growth
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that inspires engagement and excellence
  • Identify and proactively address student needs and challenges
  • Monitor student academic progress and provide quarterly reports to schools
  • Integrate Craig Lindvahl’s life lessons from Things You Wish You Knew Yesterday to promote personal and professional growth

 

Operational Responsibilities of the Facilitator:

  • Develop and refine program materials and curriculum content
  • Design and implement classroom and team-building activities
  • Secure host sites, coordinate business visits, and arrange guest speakers
  • Track and ensure mastery of key concepts and foundational skills as recommended by MIE through an established evaluation system

 

 

Facilitator Pay: $24,000

The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

 

Start Date: June 15, 2025

Facilitators come from diverse professional backgrounds, and this role is not limited to educators. A strong entrepreneurial mindset is essential for success.Candidates must be willing to obtain CTE state licensure and willing to undergo a background check.
